Weekly lifestyle and entertainment magazine heat has unveiled its first ever guest editor.

TV presenter and comedian Alan Carr joins the team ahead of his book launch for Alanatomy, and he commented 'I'm used to hosting a TV show and doing stand up tours but editing a magazine is going to be nerve racking and a challenge although finding out that I get to veto Torso of the Week could prove to be an added bonus. I can't wait to take readers behind the scenes at the conference and will be preparing in advance to get my editor hat on by watching Anna Wintour clips!'. Carr's first issue will appear on newsstands on October 11.
